Weather Station Apps and Website Training Session May 24th, 2022 Recording

If you missed last week's webinar on weather stations apps please follow this link.   Even if you do not have a weather station on farm you can tap into other weather stations in your area and get more accurate data than regional weather providers.   To join Thomas Harrington, Perennia's Agricultural Technology Specialist, as he discusses different ways to use and view the weather data coming out of the weather stations please CLICK HERE.

Minor Use Registration has been granted for the Use of Eragon Herbicide on Raspberries and Blackberries!

Eragon LQ herbicide may be applied as a banded application to the base of raspberry and blackberry canes prior to the plants breaking winter dormancy for the control of emerged broadleaf weeds leaving an extended residual control.  Eragon LQ does not control grass weeds, and may be tank mixed with an appropriate pre-emergent or post-emergent grass herbicide for broad spectrum weed control.   It's great to see something new for weed control in this crop and I will bring updates as we learn how this will fit into a full weed control program.

GDD accumulations are ahead of the 10 year average

I'd like to thank Jeff Franklin of AAFC for putting this summary together every week through the growing season.   It has been a value addition to this Blogg.
